Unable to add attachment to new topics

Post by Carol Brown »

I have tried and tried to set up new free designs but I keep getting messages that tell me the forum has reached it's capacity. Will be glad to take down my Bella Pink Ribbon but how do I do that?

I can do new messages but no attachments are allowed.

YOu should not have to take down your other posts. I will have the administrators check with the IT guys and see what the problem is.

I would suggest trying again. I think when we have high volume the program does this. We have tried to solve this with IT in the past but can never duplicate the problem to try to solve it. I would suggest trying again several times at different times. This has worked in the past.

I will try this, Aussie Carolyn tried all morning to help me but she had to go to bed, lol. It worked for awhile then quit so you very possibly could be right.

you can ask Administrator increase the user quota of attachment in Forum Control Panel ...
Also, if you post image over 2MB big, then forum not going to accept due to limited of php on apache server, this have nothing to do with the Admin unless he or she know how to increase this on the server :)

I think it's just so many of us are doing it at one time we might overload the server. Some days it works fine, others we have problems, you just never know.

I am having problems also. I tried to attach my resized photos (800 x 600) and also received the message:

maximum filesize for all Attachments has been reached.

I hardly have any photos out there, and with it being only 4:00am I don't believe there are many users uploading right now. They may be having system probems.

trouble attaching things

Post by Carol Brown »

This is true, I had problems for several days, but the last time I tried it, I was able to upload with no problems. Do not give up, somedays everything seems not to work in life.

The Sew Forum is awesome, it has generated alot of traffic to my site, so patience is a virtue, but aggravating when things do not work right the first time!

Have a great day.
