My daughter is making a denim skirt and a tiered top.She wanted an applique flower to put on the skirt using fabric from the top.I just did this one tonight and it has not been tested.let me know how it stitches if you try it. Also a tip:you dont have to do all the thread changes in reds and blues, this is just to get your machine to stop sewing.Just use the color you plan to do the borders in.

Thank you so much. Maybe so day I will be able to do the same...to have an idea and be able to just go and create it; what a great feeling that must be!

Thanks for the sweet compliments. My 20 yr old daughter drew the design to use on her daughter's skirt. I dont have a pic yet. She made a denim skirt and a ruffled tiered top, from a pattern she drew, and I helped her draft it. This was her very first sewing project. She hasn't even hemmed anything or made any kind of seam before in her life, and did fantastic.

By the way I stitchd out the design today and it did beautifully. I used to have a website and sell my designs, but once my daughter moved back home, I realized I wouldnt have time to manage everything right now. So it is on hold for awhile.I have even thought about trading some of my designs for childrens patterns since I cant really buy them right now.Who knows.

I can't download it. I have firefox and this doesn't work. Please can you zip the file or convert to pes? I don't know why, but sometimes other formats don't work. I have this problem with jef and now with hus.

I can't download it either. Before when this has happened, I would right-click on the download link and then save it as "All Files", but that doesn't seem to work with this one.

I did an outfit this weekend and couldn't get to my files. I KNEW that I'd seen this on the forum. I am doing another one like it but for my DD this time - I'm downloading now and marking the name plainly so I will find it. Thanks so much for sharing this.
