I make oven bakes. You take a loaf of french bread and slice it width-wise. So you have small round pieces of bread. Then I take shaved ham, turkey, a tomatoe and a slice of good cheese, and sprinkle Kraft Italian dressing on it and bake it in the oven until the cheese melts. They are soooooo goood. and quick. I was like you, I just got tired of the same old same old, so I saw a Quiznos ad and came up with this.

I make one I like a Philly cheese steak. I slice a tenderized round steak in thin slices, set aside, chop up some onion, red and green bell peppers, banana peppers and saute in a small amount of oil, add the steak slices, add salt and pepper and cook till the steak is brown. place enough of the meat mixture on one side of rolls or buns, top with provalan cheese then put in a toaster oven till cheese melts, you can add mayo or southwestern sauce, mustard or what ever. If no toaster oven a broiler will work.

We like either hot roast beef or hot turkey sandwiches where you make a gravy out of the meat juices and put meat and gravy over the bread. I cook the roast beef and turkey in the crock pot, the meat falls to pieces and you end up with lots of juice for the gravy. Cindy

Take a can of the french loaf bread from the refrigerator aisle, unroll it on a greased pan...fill with whatever your heart desires...we had ham, colby cheese and american cheese in ours last one...but you can do any lunch meat and any cheeses, turkey, salami, bacon, etc...roll it up from each side, pinch the middle and the ends...

Baste with an egg white to give it a golden brown color

Sprinkle with Italian Seasoning.

Bake for 25-30 minutes (whatever is recommended on the package)..

Easy to make, easy to clean up

My husband likes to dip it in barbeque sauce, but you could use ranch or honey mustard or nothing at all...

How about pizza rolls??

Buy refrigearated Crescent rolls, unroll individuals, put pepperoni and mozzarella cheese in the middle, roll-up, bake...serve with pizza sauce.

Those pizza rolls sound good. I have to confess I love crescent rolls especially around hot dogs.

Place a bag of frozen meatballs in crockpot on low, add envelope of onion soup mix, and a jar of brown beef gravy. Cook for 3 hours. Serve on french bread with provolone cheese or cheese of your choice. Mozzarella is good also. Really easy. My 15 yr son even prepared for me one day while I was at work. First meal he ever cooked for us!

Quick and delicious - open a can of corned beef; add bbq sauce to moisten. Heat through on low heat or in microwave and spread on fresh hamburger buns! Serve with chips and pickle slices; can add onion to sandwich if desired. This is great on camping trips!

Another - Use a biscuit cutter to remove a circle from hamburger bun top. Spread ample amount of home-made or canned chili over bottom of bun and cover with top of bun. Put shredded cheese in circle and run them under broiler just long enough to melt cheese...great to serve at 42 party! Enjoy! Lou
