This organization collects donated sewing machines and takes truckloads of them to areas of the country where people have lost their machines to a natural disaster, help people start small businesses with a machine and are also promoting sewing education.
They began in 2005 with the Tsunami in Thailand and have continued since then. They now have the Pay it Forward program. They request every person who receives a machine do volunteer sewing with it.

AllBrands will serve as a drop of point in stores for machines and store them in Baton Rouge for this organization until they arrive in the New Orleans area to distribut them to their new owners.

earlier today I couldn't get anything up on the "view active topics" - so it is not just you . . . .

I'm not able to get anything on the "View active topics" either.

This is the ONLY topic that is showing up for me as well............. I have missed being able to "view active topics." I hope it comes back SOON!!!

This is awfully strange but I find that if you go to "View new posts" over on the right hand side of the page it works that way but only that way. :o
At my age it is hard to teach and old dog new tricks! :lol: :lol: :lol:
And I keep trying it the old way :(
Good luck and I wish maybe a moderator could tell us what is up? :)
