My SIL is affiliated with this foundation. They are trying to get the word out about it and I told her I would post it here. They are looking for people to knit or crochet hats for babies that are born too early and don't make it. The foundation send these hats out to individuals upon request or to hospitals. You can use any pattern you want, they just need to be TINY! We were just home to visit and she showed me some that had come in, the biggest one would fit a tangerine and the smallest might stretch over the end of a banana. If you have scrap yarn lying around, this is a great opportunity to use it up for a great cause!
