It's apple season; here's a really good easy and in no way good for you recipe. . . . . . .

Apple Crunch
1 cup Flour
3/4 cup uncooked oatmeal
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine (melted)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
4 cups apples (peeled and diced)
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons corn starch
1 cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla
Combine flour, oatmeal, brown sugar, melted butter and cinnamon and mix.
Press half of crumbs into greased 9x9 inch baking pan. Cover with apples.
Combine sugar, cornstarch, water and vanilla and cook until thick and clear.
Pour over apples and top with remaining crumbs. Bake at 350* for 1 hour.
Cut in squares and serve warm, plain or with whipped cream.
