I saw this link on Pinterest so I made it. Absolutely delicious and if you are on Weight Watchers you can make it with bananas and other frozen fruit and it would have no points. It took just a few minutes in my food processor and tasted like a mousse right out of the Cuisinart. I put the rest in a plastic container and stored in the freezer. Here is the link:

Plus, if you are like me, we always have bananas that are a bit too ripe!

We bought the "YONANA " machine which probably works like your food processor.I agree ,it does taste like icecream.I think it makes a good substitute for it and so much healthier. Now if you do not care for bananas you may not like it.i like it also with nutella on it .

Yes I do think it works on the same premise as the Yonana machine. My hubby really liked this "ice cream" so I am glad I tried this recipe. Plus I found another use for the food processor.

WOW!! I just tried this and it's amazing! I think my bananas might have been a little hard because I forgot about them and they were in the freezer for about 18 hours before I processed them and I snapped my favourite spatula on them! but who cares.. the ice cream was delicious :)

I didn't have any peanut butter only cocoa powder so mine was just the chocolate version.

So today I made it with 4 frozen bananas, 6 frozen strawberries and 4 frozen blackberries - Delicious!!!! I did not add the berries until the bananas started to get creamy.

I was so impressed with this icecream that I took some to my friend to try. The only was, I forgot to put it back in the freezer and when I got home it was just a gloopy mess in the container!

Honestly it could only happen to me! So Now I have to wait till my bananas decide to go over ripe. It's taking forever!

sophiesnan - yes I know what you mean with the bananas; I have resorted to buying the over ripe ones because we eat it faster than the bananas ripen!

I only have a blender, no food proccesor. Would this be too hard on a blender? Years ago I made a shake for my dgd with frozen banana slices, milk and cinnamon in my blender. She loved it.

Crazyquilt - I do not know how this would work in a blender, but if you try it, let us know.
