I have been trying to download zip files lately but not successfully. I have not had this problem before. I love sew forum. It is my favorite embroidery site. What is happening to me now is a problem I don't know how to solve.
When I start to download zip files, the file changes and turns it into an unusable file format. Example-Dog Bone Font35mm-on the file download screen the name changes to download.php?id=50774-then on the save as screen it says download in the file name area. I have tried to right click and save target as, but the results are the same. I talked to aol support and deleted cookies and temporary files. I have not installed any new firewalls or security systems. I have looked through sew forum support but didn't find the answer. I don't think I am having this problem with unzipped files. I just love pinkies designs and so many others that I cannot get now. Can you tell me what to do? Please be specific because I am not a computer wiz. Thanks

I am going to talk to AussieCarolyn and the mods about this because I don't have the answer right now.

As this is your first post, are you meaning you have downloaded designs before on Sewforum with no problem, and this is just happening now?
Have you tried downloading both zipped files and single format files?
It does sound like something has changed within your PC and something is stopping a normal download, even though you say nothing new has been installed, has there been updates?
