Common Abbreviations?

Post by actcasual »

Hi! I'm new to the forum and loving and learning. I'm puzzled by some of the abbreviations that are used. The only one I can remember right now is MP - what?? - but if you have a list of the most used ones I bet it would be much appreciated by us newbies.

Thanks!

Not sure which ones you were talking about: MP = Martha Pullen, usually referring to her applique book which has the A-line pattern; CC - Children's Corner patterns; DD - darling daughter, DS - dear son; DGD - darling granddaughter, and of course just put D in front of any of the other relations that you might have. IMO or IMHO - in my [honest] opinion; ISO - in search of. TIA - thanks in advance.
