A good friend of mine was recently diagnoise with breast cancer. For a while, she was battling well, but this year, the doc told her that she has only this year left before the cancer will claim her life.

She is a mother of 2 young children (age 5 and 2). She is a wonderful friend, always willling to help, even if it means going out of her way for others. When I was ready to deliver my firstborn, she drove my husband and myself to the hospital at 3am. We had to persuade her to go home and rest as baby is not going to be out anytime soon.

I do not know how else to help her in her battle against breast cancer, except to create more awareness amongst women, as well as to raise funds for cancer research, as well as pray for a miracle for her.

I would like to have your permission to sew your design on some bags, and I want to donate 50% of the sales made from these bags to a local cancer foundation.

Please let me know if I may do so?

Angela

Thanks very much for your design. I do appreciate your generosity.
This afternoon I emb. the design on a t-shirt for a friend of mine who starts chemo on Wed. for liver cancer. Because of the type of cancer my friend has I did change the colors of the ribbon and wings to purple which I learned represents cancer awareness in general.
I did post a photo of the t-shirt: viewtopic.php?f=17&t=88633
Thanks again very much.
