Thank you so much for this design. I have a son in the Army who has spent a year in Iraq and now is in Afghanistan. I have a decal that my parents gave to be of this design and now I will be able to stitch your design out.
I pray that no mother will need to fly the gold star and someday no mother will need to fly even a blue star. Peace and keep our men home.

Thank you so much for the design. My son will be leaving for Afganistan in the spring. If I could add a note, unofficially a silver star is used if discharged due to injury. I believe there is a group who is trying to make it an official designation.

Thank you for this design. My husband is a retired USMC officer and pilot from the Vietnam era and our oldest son is a Col in the USMC serving as a Commanding Officer in Okinawa. We have a blue star flag in the office window.
