Hello All!

I have Brother PE-700II embroidery machine. I also own PE-Design7 digitizing software. I went through the Digitizing Made Easy by John Deer book, which I found very helpful. I'm planning on going through the manual of my digitizing software. Can anyone recommend any good tutorials? What would be some other ways I can learn digitizing fairly quickly. I am very serious about digitizing! Any pointers would be helpful. Thank you!

Digitizing is not something you can learn quickly, unfortunately. To get really good at it, takes time and patience. :D I am not familiar with how your software works, so can't help you there. I use Embroidery Magic 2, have had it for about 5 years or more, and still can't say I am good at digitizing, lol.

I use Floriani software which is very user friendly. The Floriani website provides lots of videos and some webinars on how to use the software which teaches you how to digitize. Need to own software to access supports.

I'd highly recommend the Memories in Thread yahoo group. Sue (Gemsmember on this forum) is a wonderful teacher and the tutorials are specific to the PEDesign software. They are also very reasonably priced, with many free tutorials to get you started. The group members are wonderfully friendly and helpful too. Good luck and have fun!

Does your dealer have any classes? I teach Floriani and Masterworks for a dealer. If you can find something local, that would be the best.

I have used Lesli Richardson's tutorials - http://www.amazon.com/Palette-PE-Design ... B003Q3SP82. It all takes time when working from scratch.

You may also find a good art program a necessity; draw, scan, digitize, tweak and test, tweak and test!
