Joan,
Here you go hope this is what you needed.

Tag measures 5 1/2 by 3 1/2. PES format. Untested.

Anyone else who can use this, please do!

Joleen

VERY EASY to stitch out.
**Just use 1 color of thread.
This design has 4 colors but there are just for stops in the design.**

Hoop water soluble stabilzer.
Using spray adhesive stick 1 piece of fabric to the front of stabilizer and 1 underneath.
Stitch step one.
Remove hoop from machine.
Trim close to edges on front and back.
Return hoop.
Stitch remaining stitches.
When finished trim design out of stabilizer and use a q-tip or paintbrush with water to remove excess.
Finished!

****If you want to add a letter or design... only add front fabric, stitch step one, stitch your design, then add back fabric and start tag over at stitch one before trimming out. I hope this make sense.******

May I ask how you would sew out the tag? I have not yet mastered the "applique" embroidery everyone is doing. A quick tutorial for a newbie would be much appreciated. You guys are so creative and talented and it puts me to shame.

This tag will look so much nicer than the bow that I tie on our luggage. I have some wild fabric from the 80's that I use for this purpose. I should hope that no one in their right mind would also have saved some of this fabric for the same use. On a trip to Japan, I had some extra thinking that we may need another bag when we returned. Never did I think that I would use it to leave with the lost baggage people to more quickly identify our delayed bags. The Japanese people helping us did get a good laugh. Yes, the bags came to us the next day.

Thanks Joleen! Wouldn't this be great with that iron on vinyl over it!

Cute idea. I could use this instead of just tying a ribbon on the luggage handle. Thank you.
