I looked up the profile but am not seeing where I can change that setting.

Re: Marking posts as read question

When you open a thread, it will be marked as read. I am not aware of a way of marking a specific subset of posts as read.

Re: Posting Design Pics

After ALT & PRTSCR, got to Microsoft PAINT and paste the screen-print there. Crop as needed and save as a JPG.

Re: Applique

There isn't a separate link for just applique. If you want just applique designs, you might try searching for "applique" in title only in the Free Designs section and choose "first post only". This should narrow your search criteria enough to make it manageable.

Re: Additional Features to SewForum

The current software used to drive SewForum does not have the capability to do a thumbnail with each posting on the index screen. The same applies to a "like" or "thumbs-up" feature.

I'm unsure of the third request, as I'm not a Pinterest user.

Re: no pics allowed

Windows 7 narrows it down enough for me. Did Windows Update run lately? I know there were some bad updates that went out and they needed additional update to be run afterwards to fix it. Your issue specifically was not mentioned, but it might be a contributing factor. In the meantime, see if Google ...

Re: no pics allowed

The only change that was made is the auto-thumbnail feature that was added several months ago. I've seen the posting where you were trying to add a photo. If you send me the photo (I'll PM my email address to you) I'll get it added to your post. That will address your immediate need until we figure ...

Re: no pics allowed

What format and filesize pictures are you trying to upload? What device are you using? (PC, MAC, phone, tablet?)

To which forum section are you trying to upload a picture?

Re: asking questions

"General Chat" is always a good place for introductions. There's a topic at the top of "General Chat" called "Introductions, Please".

I was told that signatures were disabled some time ago, because there were signatures that were too large and took up too much space.
