Just wanted to let you know:

Some websites only create cookies (a cookie is a text file that tells a website to log you in automatically) that only work for a few minutes or few hours. This may be the case here. I am not staying logged in either.

Yes, it sounds like you may not have cookies turned on. Also, if you are not checking the "Keep me logged in" check box, every time you leave the forums, you are logged out. If this is checked though, check whether you've got cookies on. Here are a couple of links: How to turn on cookies -...

I forgot to mention, when the message is in the "Out Box" I think that means the user has not looked at the message yet. Once it's in the "Sent Box" the user has viewed the message... that is a guess though.

Sending a PM

Sending a PM is just like posting in the forums. Once you hit the "Submit" button, the PM will be sent and you will be brought to a page that says it was sent. The only time a PM will not be sent is if the user does not exist or there is some sort of error on the forums.
