When this happened to me quite a while ago, all I needed to do was unplug my mouse and plug it in again and things went back to normal - go figure.

Still very, very slow for me and this seems to be the only place that's affected. I've stopped cheking out a lot of the threads (before I used to read all of them) and only pick off one or two.
